When did you decide working in construction was the thing you wanted to do:

From a young age, I have always been fascinated by architecture—whether it was planning and rearranging my bedroom or driving around admiring different homes and buildings. In high school, my love for art and graphics grew, which naturally led me to pursue further studies in architecture. What I enjoy most is that no two projects are ever the same. I thrive on working alongside talented people, blending creativity with problem-solving to deliver outstanding results.

What are you most passionate about?

Creating spaces that are functional and meaningful for the occupants. Collaborating with clients and other key stakeholders is a great part of the journey. Being able to take an idea from paper and transform it into a tangible, lasting part of the world is incredibly rewarding. Every project brings new challenges and opportunities to grow and evolve.

Why did you join NAWIC?

In a male dominated industry, I wanted to connect with other women in construction. As women in construction, we face unique challenges, and having a network of like-minded

women is invaluable. NAWIC is a place where we can share experiences, mentor each other, and advocate for greater representation and opportunities for women in this industry.

What would you like to see for the future of women in construction?

I would love to see more women in leadership roles, making key decisions in every phase of the construction process. It’s important that we not only increase the number of women entering the industry but also create environments where they can thrive, grow, and lead.

Words of wisdom or tips for women at the start of or considering a career in construction:

Go for it! Trust yourself, be confident in your skills and don’t be afraid to ask questions. The industry will be a better place for it.

Travelling and being outdoors with my family
