When did you start in the construction industry:

2011

When did you decide working in construction was the thing you wanted to do:

When I was 10 years old

What are you most passionate about?

I'm an extremely passionate person, passion oozes through everything that I do.

Why did you join NAWIC?

I joined NAWIC to help champion the visibility and success of women in construction. I’ve been fortunate to work alongside talented professionals and want to support and

encourage more women to thrive, succeed, connect with one another, have their voices heard.

I also want to contribute meaningfully in shaping our built environment.

What would you like to see for the future of women in construction?

I’d love to see more women not only stepping into senior leadership roles but also increasing their presence across all areas of construction, especially in typically male-dominated fields.

The industry benefits when diverse perspectives shape its future, and breaking down barriers starts with strong mentorship, visible role models, and a culture that actively supports inclusion.

Equally important is women backing other women creating networks of support, mentorship, and a safe space to seek advice. By lifting each other up, we can build a more connected,

empowered, and resilient community of women in construction.

Words of wisdom or tips for women at the start of or considering a career in construction:

Keep learning. Construction is always evolving—stay curious and adaptable.

Be confident in what you don’t know. Don’t be shy to say you don’t know, ask questions

Back yourself. You belong in this industry, and your perspective is valuable.

What is your favourite thing to do for fun:

Hiking, Photography, wholesome experiences and I'm a big foodie.
