When did you start in the construction industry:

2007

When did you decide working in construction was the thing you wanted to do:

I grew up around the construction industry, as my parents run their own company in Ireland.

Although I initially pursued a degree in business and marketing, I soon realized that marketing wasn't for me. After exploring various construction-related roles, I found my niche in quantity surveying in 2019, and I haven't looked back since.

What are you most passionate about?

Over the years, I’ve had the chance to work on some incredible projects, and the satisfaction of

seeing them through to completion, along with the knowledge gained along the way, is what

truly drives me.

Why did you join NAWIC?

To connect with and learn from some amazing women in the industry.

What would you like to see for the future of women in construction?

I’d like to see the construction industry continue to expand with women represented at every level.

Words of wisdom or tips for women at the start of or considering a career in construction:

Believe in yourself and go for it.

What is your favourite thing to do for fun:

I love spending time with family, traveling, and hitting the driving range—even though I’m not

that great at it.
