When did you decide working in construction was the thing you wanted to do:

I was recommended by people and family who were involved in construction and so when an opportunity came up I joined Naylor Love as an accountant.

What are you most passionate about?

Being able to influence change.

Why did you join NAWIC?

My employer encouraged staff to join when the Otago chapter was set up.

What would you like to see for the future of women in construction?

More women working in construction and also more women progressing into senior roles would be good to see in the next 20 years.

Words of wisdom or tips for women at the start of or considering a career in construction:

There are so many different roles and qualifications you can complete and great career opportunities to progress if you want to.

What is your favourite thing to do for fun:

Riding the trails on my ebike!!
