What is your current title for work?

Senior Project Manager

When did you start in the construction industry:

2013

When did you decide working in construction was the thing you wanted to do:

I started in the construction industry by accident, in an administrative role. 5 years later when I was looking for a change in direction it seemed like the obvious decision to double down. I wish I had realised what the opportunities were in construction sooner!

What are you most passionate about?

Helping more people find their place in construction.

Why did you join NAWIC?

Networking and opportunities. The site visits to all kinds of different projects is a great opportunity too.

What would you like to see for the future of women in construction?

The industry has come a long way in the percentages of women and diverse groups in consulting roles, but I would love to see that that on the ground too.

Words of wisdom or tips for women at the start of or considering a career in construction:

Be curious.

What is your favourite thing to do for fun:

Being out in the sunshine, and / or a glass of wine with friends
