With over 550 in attendance from across the sector and Aotearoa, the energy and vibe was electric, it was lovely to see so much appreciation, celebration and support for the finalists, and the award recipients.

66 finalists were presented with a beautiful taonga at the special pre event.

There were 32 award recipients, which included 12 category winners. Congratulations to you all.

“It was a privilege to host a diverse group of amazing finalists, to share the Award recipient’s achievements, and hear from the category incredible winners, to the captivated audience”
. Recalls, Stacey Mendonca, MNZM, Awards Director, Co-presenter and NAWIC Co-founder. She adds “ The Awards recipients were clearly thrilled, and some shed tears of joy and surprise. The audience showed their appreciation, finishing with a standing ovation for the Helen Tippett winner, Priyana de Sliver-Currie, it was unforgettable”.

“I am struggling to put into words how proud I am of the 2024 NAWIC Awards.  So much awesomeness in one room!  It was a night to remember, not just for award recipients but for all those who attended.  As our award winners spoke I could not help but think - " A woman with a voice is, by definition, a strong woman".  We certainly saw a lot of them on Friday the 19th of July!”
Colleen Upton OMNZ, NAWIC President

Not only was it a spectacular evening full of anticipation to discover and celebrate the Awards recipients, but the audience got to enjoy the impressive
Pacific Connection choir and the sensational Anita’s dance academy troupe from Upper Hutt.

Thanks to our awards partner Naylor Love, all our category and support sponsors, NAWIC Awards committee, and chapter volunteers for contributing to the success of this event, we could not do it without you.

Congratulations to all the award recipients and category winners.
