A new record number of nominations has been reached

NAWIC Excellence Awards 2024.

Now that nominations for our 2024 awards have officially closed, we would like to take a moment to express our gratitude and appreciation for all those who have taken the time to put a nomination in for themselves or someone else. We have reached a new record number with 242 submissions, this number has doubled in the last 3 years and the calibre of nominations remains high. We received great support for the new category for Specialist Plant and Machinery Operators Excellence Award. There is an ever increasing number of women in these roles around the motu and we want to make sure everyone hears about them.

The awards committee is thrilled with the wide range and diversity of skills, and businesses represented by this year's nominees.

Stacey Mendonça , Excellence Awards Director and NAWIC Co- Founder adds, “ We were elated with the way the industry has answered the call to enter a wide range of roles and responsibilities. Equally impressive is the high calibre of nominees received, and we acknowledge it will be a tough job for the judges”.

Tickets go on sale after the finalists are announced

Finalist only Pre-event: Friday 19 July 2024 (at the same venue, before awards presentation).
Venue: Tākina Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre, 50 Cable Street, Te Aro, Wellington.
